We said it in 2014 and we’ll say it again - the Koenigsegg Regera ‘Direct Drive’ is one of the best powertrains of all time. 250mph without a gearbox - click here if you’d like to hear Christian himself explain how that’s possible.

With engineering like this, it really makes you wonder why anyone is buying the Mercedes AMG Project One, which for $3m can’t even stay on for long enough to submit a 0-60 time, let alone attempt a full lap anywhere 🤣

Canadian GP off to a slow start

Hey all, it’s Phil here..

On behalf of all Canadians, I just want to apologize for the CCTV cameras not working at the Canadian GP. It wasn’t our intention to mess up FP1 and we understand the lack of runtime will make it tougher for all the teams on Sunday, except for Ferrari who were already planning on ruining their weekend.

How the Canadian Grand Prix has persevered all these years

The Canadian Grand Prix has been a fixture on the Formula 1 circuit for 45 years. Despite a few interruptions for Covid and two missed years due to business issues, it has become a motorsport institution in North America despite the ups and downs of interest in F1 south of the border.

Its success has been due to several factors. An exciting track, a fantastic location close to a vibrant city and the absolute passion of the Canadian fan base. From the first race in cold temperatures highlighted by the fairy-tale win of the legendary Gilles Villeneuve to the gleaming new pit building introduced recently, the racing has been epic, and the after-race parties have been epic as well!

The Canadian Grand Prix has never strayed from their mission of putting the fan front and center and as the years have gone by, the race has only gotten stronger. With a contract to host until 2031, the Canadian Grand Prix has a glorious history to be proud of and a bright future ahead.
