Get ready for some awesome news……… We’re doing a Live Auction!

The Driven Aftermarket Car Show is an event brand that visits nine cities and attracts ~45,000 attendees throughout the year. For their upcoming show in Toronto on Saturday, June 3rd, their team have brought in our Toronto Auction Partner, RCLUB, to run a live auction using our software network.

The car in question is this 1972 Datsun 240Z and it’s going at No Reserve! The auction will end at 5pm and local bidders can bid from the crowd while everyone else bids from abroad on the Paddock Network 👌

It’s super exciting to see a car show using our platform to deliver a fun activation and there’s some seriously great updates coming soon..

Sustainable motorsport is still motorsport

Let’s be perfectly clear - sustainable motorsport is still motorsport, through and through. As Michael Andretti stated when asked about his Formula E team: racing is racing.

Why do I say this? Because too often I hear the comment that racing on sustainable technologies, especially electric racing, is not real racing because it has “no soul” or no sound. Yet, if you look at teams like Four Motors, Hansen Motorsport or manufactures like Nissan or our friends at Scalar Performance, their opinion will be the same as that of Mr. Andretti..

This week in my Sustainable Motorsport Roundup, I showcase several series, race teams and technologies that explains how sustainable motorsport is just racing with a lesser impact on the environment - and yes, the whole idea is to still go faster than everyone else 🤣
